Our Ethical Recruitment Policy, ensures all our Nepali candidates for foreign employment are recruited through Harmony Talent’s recruitment processes that respects the rights and protections presented below. This reflects Harmony Talent’s commitment to International Labor Organization (ILO), and customers’ Code of Conduct. These commitments are extended to workers during recruitment, hiring, migration, employment and termination, and as such, shall be upheld by Harmony Talent’s operations.
All employment and recruitments shall be voluntary and free from forced, bonded, or indentured labor, involuntary prison labor, or trafficking. To this end, Harmony Talent’s recognizes migrant workers’ rights to the following:
▪ We practice Zero-Payment policy in our recruitment process and workers should not pay any costs or fees associated with recruitment, migration, and employment.
▪ Workers have the right to a clear and accurate understanding of the workplace, the employment position, and terms and conditions of work before accepting the position.
▪ Workers who wish to decline the employment contract shall be able to do so without incurring unreasonable costs and other penalties. There shall be no payment required from workers to enter the company
▪ Workers have the right to maintain custody of their own personal identification documents, passport and work permits whenever they are not needed to meet a legal requirement process.
▪ Workers have the right to exclusive access to and control of their wages and benefits with no interference from recruitment agencies.
▪ Workers should have access to recourse at our agency during recruitment, hiring and employment should they be subject to unethical treatment or grievances.
